Frog

As a returner to playing trumpet after a quarter of a century 'rest' I had a few lessons with Simon. Thanks. That was 5 years ago before I moved away from the midlands. I've recently finished 18 months of lessons with a local professional who got me doing lots of buzzing to improve my sound). I play occasionally, but not regularly, with amateur orchestras and brass bands. I rarely have time to practise more than 40 minutes a day. I struggle with range and endurance. Recently, after only 15 mins or so of playing, my sound is spoiled by what seems to be some extra and unwanted vibrations of my bottom lip (at least that what it feels like)... my sound gets a 'frog-in-its-throat'. Any advice on increasing range and endurance... and losing the frog... would be most welcome.

And... any plans for a concert at The Sage, Gateshead?
