Hi Steve,

When it comes to listening to brass on the radio in this country radio three and Frank Renton's slot is about all you're going to get I'm afraid!! Despite there being a huge brass tradition in this country , the BBC don't seem to want to dedicate much of it's airtime to brass. Classic FM play the odd Haydn trumpet concerto from time to time but I'm afraid that's it .

The Cool Fugue you heard is part of Simon Lenton's arrangement of all the incidental music of West Side Story, it's a good 40 minutes worth of music and REALLY hurts when performed !!!!!!! . This arrangement is exclusive to us and is not published as the Bernstein estate would not allow it, despite the fact that they gave us permission to do the arrangement and to do a commercial recording ( due to be released soon, watch this space!!)
