Hi Tom,

I'm terrible when it comes to names. Remind me, were you the big tall chap with the straight hair or curly hair? Either way, if my memory serves me correctly I think you were sick to death with us banging on about not putting enough air through the trumpet. I suspect you've gone back to treating your trumpet as if it were a lollipop (sucking, not blowing!!) Remember Simon talking about compression? Are you using the support muscles? Remember how we got you to blow down the leadpipe, then the wrong end of the mouthpiece? Are you taking a whopping load of air into your lungs rhymically and then using it all before taking another?

Questions, questions, question!!!! Always remember, breathing and using the breath to the best of your ability, coupled with good vibrating lips are the key to a good sound. The stamina bit is just something you have to build up and the articulation will be good as long as you remember that the tongue never stays in the same place for different registers. Remember Doh, Dah, Dee!

If you need any more reminding or any have any more questions, please feel free to email us directly.
Cheers!
Angela
