DeMontford Hall Chamber Music Concert

This message was contributed by Howard Smith on 25/10/05.

Attended your concert today in Leicester. Fantastic, inspirational playing. Like in all good chamber music, there was real communication between yourselves and between you and the audience. Congratulations!

I play trombone and have heard Katy play before and therefore knew what to expect. But a cornet playing aquaintance said to me at the interval that they had "never before heard trombone playing like that!"

Just a quick question for Katy: What is the black covering on the tuning slide brace? (couldn't really see from my seat). Is it a protection of some kind. I can't imagine it is there to affect the sound.

Thanks again for a great concert.

Howard
