Dear Pat
Yes, of course we are always looking for new and exciting original works. Please send a copy of your piece.
It hard to attract good composers to write music for brass. Either they patronise the medium by writing cleches or they fail to understand how a group of non-homogeneous instruments can be made to blend together. Trumpet and trombones are cylindrical whereas horns and tubas are conical- unlike a string quartet where the instruments are more naturally cohesive.
Good luck
Simon Hogg
