Oh dear, sounds nasty!!!! I suspect that your problems aren't to do with breathing , but with posture. The chances are you are probably slouching (we all do it!!) therefore puting too much stress on one part of your back or a particular muscle group. You may also be gripping the instrument too tightly causing lots of tension in the arms and into the neck, chest and back. Breathing in brass playing works best when we are relaxed ................. so perhaps all you need to do is sit up straight and CHILL OUT!!!!!
