I'm not sure that I'm supposed to appear on these pages any more, being now ancient history as far as FABE is concerned (tuba in loft, all cash offers considered), but I can assure you that your local shop IS talking cobblers; originally the piece was written for Orchestra, but Hoddinott rescored (obviously) and rewrote it for John Wallace's group. As I recall, it is published by University of Swansea Press; surely if you search Hoddinott on the Net, you should be able to work through to this piece? Is it not in Robert King's catalogue? Or you could try June Emerson's catalogue in the UK. Good luck!
